The Soirée Foundation is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with Saint John of God Hospitaller Services (SJOG), a leading provider of mental health and psychosocial support in Malawi, as part of the inaugural edition of Soirée Socials: Movember.
This partnership marks a significant step in our mission to make mental health support more accessible, affordable, and normalised for Malawian men. Through this collaboration, The Soirée Foundation will fund and pre-purchase therapy sessions from Saint John of God, ensuring that men in need can receive professional care without financial barriers.
The therapy sessions will be distributed through Saint John of God’s facilities nationwide, with the organisation managing all attendance data, follow-ups, and impact tracking to ensure accountability and measurable outcomes. Our shared goal is to fund at least 300 therapy sessions through Soirée Socials: Movember and continue expanding this initiative in future editions.
Launching on Sunday, 23 November 2025 at Lilongwe Golf Club, Soirée Socials: Movember combines the energy of community sport with purpose-driven fundraising, using 7-a-side football, wellness activations, and conversation spaces to break the silence around men’s mental health.
Saint John of God joins a growing list of organisations and individuals committed to building a culture of openness, healing, and inclusion in Malawi. Together, we’re proving that sport can be more than play, it can be a pathway to care, connection, and change.
Whether you want to cheer from the sidelines, play on the field, or support from afar, there’s a way for everyone to get involved.
