2025 has been a year of curves, growth, learning, and beautiful experimentation for The Sunday Soirée. We tried things we had never done before. We pushed boundaries. We trusted the process. From hosting a full-scale boxing match at Clash at the Castle, to bringing Malawi its first Vino Festival, to curating a bottomless brunch experience that redefined daytime culture, this year has been about growth, partnerships, and proving that premium, well-produced lifestyle experiences belong right here at home.
Along the way, we made a bold shift, every Soirée event became fully cashless, powered by FDH Bank Plc, in partnership with Ekhaya Farms & Foods. This wasn’t just about convenience; it was about building a better, safer, more seamless guest experience. And none of this would have been possible without the partners, artists, vendors, and community that continued to show up with us, again and again.
Some of you experienced every moment with us this year. Some caught a few highlights. And some missed it all. So we decided to bring everyone together one last time. A return. A reunion. A moment to close the year properly. This is how The Sunday Soirée: HOMEcoming was born.
On Sunday, 21 December 2025, from 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM, we come together at Lassie House in Area 10, Lilongwe, for a full-day and night experience designed to feel familiar, elevated, and deeply intentional. HOMEcoming is not about hype, it’s about energy, culture, and community. It’s about reconnecting, celebrating growth, and ending the year the Soirée way.
As always, the experience goes far beyond music. HOMEcoming brings together a carefully curated mix of food and beverage experiences designed to move with the rhythm of the day. Expect bold flavours and comfort classics from Khoz Khoffee with wraps, kebabs, and kotas. Open-fire shishanyama from Ekhaya, balanced by a fresh and refreshing fruit bar. A Brazilian-inspired culinary experience by Lassie House, alongside beautifully prepared sushi from Sushi & Such. Marvelous Café brings playful street favourites with Korean corndogs, loaded fries, burgers, and mini pizzas. On the drinks side, Vino Essentials by The Soirée curates a refined wine selection, complemented by crafted cocktails, a whiskey and cigar lounge by Lassie House, shooters and beers by Pour House, and freshly pressed juices by Ninies.
Music remains the heartbeat of every Soirée. For HOMEcoming, the soundscape will be a blend of live, semi-live, and DJ-led performances, soulful moments, high-energy transitions, and late-night movement, all stitched together seamlessly. No Name DJs & Friends will guide the journey from day to night, delivering carefully curated sets designed to build, evolve, and carry the crowd together. As with all Soirée events, the music is intentional. No song requests. Just trust the journey.
Style is part of the language. HOMEcoming is dressed in a refined colour-way of Antique Gold, Charcoal Black, Deep Emerald, and Alabaster, rich, elegant tones that reflect both celebration and return. Outfit inspiration will be shared soon, but the brief is simple: come comfortable, come expressive, come ready to belong.
Music for HOMEcoming is curated by No Name DJs, joined by a line-up of talented friends who understand the Soirée sound and know how to carry it from day into night. Expect sets from MXKOWORLD, Black Soul, DJ Thando, and Bantu Groove, each bringing their own flavour to the journey. Adding to the moment, HOMEcoming will also feature a special DJ set by award-winning producer and Dj, TrappyBeats, marking his first-ever DJ appearance at a Sunday Soirée. As with every Soirée, the music is fully curated from start to finish, and no song requests will be entertained — the sound is part of the experience
A few important notes as you plan your day. HOMEcoming is strictly 18+, with no underage drinking permitted. This is a fully cashless event, no cash will be accepted on-site, with all payments powered by FDH Bank Plc. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, and The Sunday Soirée reserves the right of admission. The event is a weapons- and violence-free space, and we ask all guests to respect the environment, staff, vendors, and one another. Parking is limited, so carpooling and taxis are strongly encouraged. There is no VIP section and no reservations — one ticket grants full access to the entire event space.
HOMEcoming is powered by FDH Bank Plc as Exclusive Prime Sponsor, in partnership with Ekhaya Farms & Foods. We’re also grateful to our extended village of partners including Kweza Arts, Lassie House, Eminent Prints, Zaluso Arts, PayChangu, Pour House, Khoz Khoffee, Marvelous Café, Ninies Lounge, Emiko Group, Mtombosola Photography, Mata Creatives, and KR Enterprise, partners who continue to believe in the culture and build with us.
HOMEcoming is not a party. It’s a feeling. A return to energy, to people, to shared moments. Whether you’ve been with us all year or you’re just arriving now, this one is for all of us. Let’s come home, together, and close the year right.
